Wrestlemania XXXIV

I haven't done this in a couple of years, but decided to have a go at it again. I think the last time I wrote out my Wrestlemania predictions, I only had two wrong. I am not including either of the Battle Royal matches, nor am I including the Cruiserweight match (I don't really watch 205 and haven't kept up with it since Neville left).

The Miz vs. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Bálor for the Intercontinental Championship
As much as I would like to see WWE do something with our inaugural Universal champion, I don't think he'll pick up the victory tonight.  Since there is already a match booked for later this month at the Greatest Royal Rumble pay-per-view, which is these three plus Samoa Joe, The Miz will retain with help from the Miztourage.

Randy Orton vs. Bobby Roode vs. Jinder Mahal vs. Rusev for the United States Championship

I love Randy Orton.  He became the United States Champion for the first time in his career last month, making him the 18th Grand Slam Champion.  He's losing that title tonight.  Who will come out victorious?  I'd love to see Rusev back as the monster he was three years ago, before he lost to John Cena.  But I think the winner tonight will be GLORIOUS!  Bobby Roode leaves with the title.

Alexa Bliss vs. Nia Jax for the Raw Women's Championship
A lot of people are thinking that Nia will win the title but lose it momentarily after, as Carmella cashes in her Money in the Bank briefcase.  I don't think this is going to happen.  I think she WILL cash in, but not on Nia (or Alexa).  What will happen in this match?  Mickie James will be the lackey and help Alexa.  But after Nia takes her out, she will give Alexa a Samoan Drop and become our new Raw Women's champion.

Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka for the Smackdown Women's Championship

Seems to be obvious that Asuka will win and keep her streak alive.  But I think Carmella will spoil that.  Asuka lost a couple times in NXT in multi-person matches but they never counted against her streak because she was never the one to take the pin or be submitted (and it was stupid to have her streak involved in the Mix Match Challenge).  Carmella will cash in near the end of the match and pin Charlotte to become the new Smackdown Women's Champion.

Cesaro and Sheamus vs. Braun Strowman and ??? for the Raw Tag Team Championship
Obviously, we won't find out who Braun's partner is until tonight.  Who's it going to be?  It doesn't matter because the Monster Among Men will still be without a WWE title.  As with the Miz, a title match has already been announced for the GRR later this month, with The Bar defending their titles against the Jeff and Matt Hardy.  Hopefully Braun will be the next Universal Champ (after Reigns, of course).

The Uso's vs. The New Day vs. The Bludgeon Brothers for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship
The Bludgeon Brothers will dominate for most of the match.  All three teams will come out strong.  I say it'll probably be Big E and Kofi for the New Day, with Xavier Woods on the side.  However, though Luke Harper and Eric Rowan will control most of the match, it will end with The New Day becoming five time tag team champions.

Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey vs. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon
I don't have much to say about this match.  We already know that Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey will get the W.  Ronda will earn the victory by locking Stephanie in the arm bar.

Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn
The stipulation for this match is if Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn lose, they're done on Smackdown.  So of course they're going to win. But how?  Shane or Daniel will turn on their partner.  But who?  My money is on DBry.

AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE Championship

The Dream Match. Will it live up to its expectations? Nakamura has been way overdue to hold a title on the main roster. In such an anticipated match, I hope it steals the show.  Who will walk out as the WWE Champion? The King of Strong Style, Shinsuke Nakamura, will emerge as the new champion.  Let's just hope this match is what we all hope!

Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship

The match we're all excited to see, right? This match has been building up for a long time. Everyone already knows that Roman is going to win. It's a given, just like the Rousey match. Paul Heyman will talk about how Brock is going to win. He'll pop off a bunch of suplexes and F5s but Roman Reigns will come through just as we think he's done with a Superman Punch and a Spear and pin Lesnar for the title.
