Wrestlemania XXXI

Kickoff Pre-Show: Fatal 4 Way for the WWE Tag Team Championship
The Usos vs. Los Matadores vs. Big E and Kofi Kingston vs. Cesaro and Tyson Kidd
I don't have much to say about this match. Cesaro and Tyson Kidd will remain champs.

Kickoff Pre-Show: Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
Konnor, Viktor, Kane, Big Show, Darren Young, Titus O’Neil, Jack Swagger, The Miz, Ryback, Curtis Axel, Fandango, Adam Rose, Zack Ryder, Erick Rowan, Sin Cara, Damien Sandow, Goldust, Mark Henry, Heath Slater, Hideo Itami
This match is full of mostly jobbers. One of them won't win. I like the Ascension, even though they're mostly just on house shows. I really like Curtis Axel. I've liked Heath Slater since his debut with Nexus. I like Damien Sandow but they ruined the character he started with. Barely any of these guys have been on Raw or Smackdown the past couple weeks, so why should they win? Kane and Big Show are the biggest names here. It's going to come down to them as the final two and it's going to start a feud after Big Show wins.

Ladder Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship
Bad News Barrett vs. R-Truth vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Luke Harper vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Stardust vs. Daniel Bryan

I really like Dolph Ziggler and would love for him to win. But he's won the past couple matches against D. Bry. I don't see them having him win on Wrestlemania. I'm surprised they are having an odd number of men in this match. I'm thinking Sheamus will make his return and become a challenger in this match. If he does, I think Sheamus will win. If he doesn't, the winner will be Daniel Bryan. Can't let all his fanboys down, after all!

Sting vs. Triple H
Sting is going to win, hands down. He's in Wrestlemania for the first time ever! Who hasn't wanted to see Sting in a Mania match?! Everyone's been wanting this for almost 15 year, since the end of WCW. Sledgehammer vs. Bat. Pedigree vs. Scorpion Death Drop. Sting didn't come onto WWE to lose his first Wrestlemania match.

AJ Lee and Paige vs. The Bella Twins
I'm disappointed that this isn't a match for the Diva's Title. After AJ giving Paige an elbow on Raw, I wouldn't be surprised if they change it to a Fatal Four Way. Paige proposed that she and AJ become a tag team. But does she have ulterior motives for that? After all, there isn't much to gain for the women by being a tag team. It isn't like there's a Diva's Tag Team Championship...but there should be. I'd like to see the match end with Paige using PTO on one twin and AJ Lee using the Black Widow on the other.

Seth Rollins vs. Randy Orton
Seth Rollins has been having his ass kicked. He's going to have it handed to him by Randy Orton in this match. But Rollins can't win without help. J&J Security is going to interfere and cost Orton the match, making Seth Rollins the winner. Will he then cash in his MITB case against Roman Reigns or Brock Lesnar?

WWE United States Title
John Cena vs. Rusev
Rusev is still undefeated in a match. All his talk about the US is really getting old, annoying, and boring. I don't love Cena, but I love that he loves this country. The winner will be John Cena after putting Rusev in the STF, followed by the US flag popping down.

Bray Wyatt vs. The Undertaker
Why is the Undertaker returning after losing his streak last year? Because he can. We don't get to see the Tombstone until Taker is there. I think next year's Wrestlemania will be Mean Mark's last, retiring in his home state of Texas. As for this year? Bray Wyatt will rest in peace.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship:
Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar
I'd like to see Roman Reigns win. He comes from a long line of Samoan wrestlers. But he still has some improving to do, especially on the mic (though he has gotten better). I didn't watch wrestling when Brock Lesnar was in his heyday. I loved it when I was a kid, then stopped watching it for a long time and just picked back up with it a few years ago. I also didn't have cable in the past 2 years so I've missed a lot. I just started being able to watch again right before the Royal Rumble. So I've never seen Brock Lesnar wrestle. But I know he's good. Brock Lesnar is going to win. He just signed a three year contract with WWE. He isn't going anywhere.

I can't wait until Sunday! I'll be watching to see which of my predictions happens. I also can't wait to see some of my childhood favorites being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on Saturday - the Bushwhackers and Macho Man Randy Savage! I'm glad that Macho Man's family decided to go against his wishes of being inducted without the rest of the Poffo family. Only thing I'm not looking forward to is Eva Marie hosting it.

Monday Night Raw

Watching last night's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw on Hulu (I like to watch it the next day anyway because instead of an hour and a half of commercials, there's only about 10 commercial slots that are only 30 seconds each). I fell asleep last night while watching it. I was excited to see the Undertaker respond to Bray Wyatt's Wrestlemania challenge but was disappointed. I enjoyed the response but was disappointed that the Deadman didn't actually appear.

Curtis Axel should get a bigger push instead od being stuck as a jobber. I like him. Plus he's a legacy, a third generation wrestler. It sucks his match was only like 30 seconds long and rarely wins. Mr. Perfect's son deserves more. He looks just like Mr. Perfect too, just without the long, curly blonde hair, and not all roided up. Dolph Ziggler channels Curtis Hennig with his hair. I like how Axel's stage name is his father's real first name. #Axelmania

I like that the Divas are getting a bit more screentime. Two matches on live TV? Awesome. It sucks that the Diva's championship isn't on the line at Wrestlemania. Instead they turn the Diva's match into a tag team match. That's corny. All of the titles should be defended during the pay-per-views, ESPECIALLY Wrestlemania. They should also have a women's tag team title.

Randy Orton turned on Seth Rollins and the Authority. Who didn't see that coming since his return, especially after the opening segment of Raw.

I can't wait until Wrestlemania. Definitely looking forward to Sting vs. HHH. And even though it's the night before, I'm definitely looking forward to the Hall of Fame inductions. Wrestlers from when I was a kid that I loved are being inducted - Macho Man Randy Savage and the Bushwhackers! Awesome!!

For the Birds

This not sleeping shit is for the birds. Okay I don't quite get that quote but this sucks. In the past like 2-3 weeks, I just haven't really been able to sleep with the exception of about four nights. I don't understand it one bit because I'm exhausted. Either I'll fall asleep somewhat early, like last night when I fell asleep around 930, then I'll wake up and can't get back to sleep or I just can't get to sleep at all like tonight. I really need to see a doctor about this because it can't keep happening. I've got a bottle of Advil PM and a bottle of Benadryl. I'm about to take both bottles!! Maybe it's because I have my socks on and nothing over my head. I can't sleep with socks and I have to have my head covered with my blanket. Okay socks are off.

#BlueLivesMatter #CopsLivesMatter

On Thursday, a Philadelphia police officer was murdered. Officer Robert Wilson of the 22nd district went into a Game Stop for a security check and to buy a gift for his son, whose birthday is this upcoming Monday. While he was in the store, two armed men, brothers, walked into the store and announced a robbery. Officer Wilson took action. A shootout began. The officer never took cover and continued to shoot even while he was being shot. He was shot three times, once in the head. He died a short time after. T.his is a disgrace. The day before, a police officer was murdered in Georgia. He was also shot in the head. I think his name was Terrence Green.

Ever since the grand jury decided not to indict Officer Darren Wilson for killing a criminal, cops lives have been in even more danger. All those protests all over the country, people walking around with their hands in the air saying, "Hands up, don't shoot," hashtagging on social media blacklivesmatter, sympathetic with someone who just robbed a store then tried taking Darren Wilson's gun, then was shot as he was charging towards Officer Wilson, yet they still believe Michael Brown was an innocent victim. HE WASN'T. It was all over the news for months, yet these cops don't get national attention. I wouldn't even have heard of Officer Green of it wasn't for Facebook. It's a disgrace. Police officers go to work everyday and don't know if they'll see their families again. Officer Green had 4 sons who will never see their father again. Officer Robert Wilson had a 9 year old son and a 1 year old baby. That baby won't even have a memory of his father. Black lives matter? Both of these cops were black. #BlueLivesMatter #CopsLivesMatter #ALLLivesMatter

Don't Wait, the Time Will Never Be Just Right

Wow. So just like my last blog post, it's been a while since I posted anything. Almost a year. I really want to get started with it again. Not that I have any followers. I have one. Not really. My only follower is me. Sucks but oh well, that's the way the cookie crumbles sometime.

I started another blog too, about my experiences with drug addiction. I only have five posts but there is a lot to each one. It could probably be several chapters of a book. All addiction stories are basically the same though so it would be like reading every other book that chronicles someone's addiction.

I really want to have an everyday blog. Of course, I'd like to keep up with this one every day but who reads it besides me? I've been planning a blog for like 2 years now. A 365 day DIY blog, filled with crafts, recipes, tips, etc. But if I can't even get people to follow me on THIS blog or my addiction blog, how would I get followers on the "Mom's Got it Together" blog I've been planning? Maybe some day. Maybe if I start to get followers on here or my other one, I can start that one up
 Wishful thinking.

I love how it's almost 3am and I'm still awake. Well, not really, I don't really LOVE it. Just an expression. I wrote about being up late on an entry earlier in this blog. I'm am insomniac. I've never been diagnosed (I've actually never even seen a doctor about it) but I have several symptoms of chronic imsomnia. It never botheted me before when I was younger but things are a lot different now that I have 3 kids, all aged 5 and under. Tons of fun. I also smoke a lot when I don't (or can't) sleep. Then I wake up to either no cigarettes or almost none. That sucks. I really should see a doctor about it, especially since I've been like this since I was in high school and it isn't getting any better! I actually did fall asleep pretty early tonight. I was watching WWE Smackdown and fell asleep while that was on, sometime between 930-10 but got woken up at 1008 to my son screaming like he was being killed because he threw his bottle out of his pack-n-play. Couldn't get back to sleep after that. Maybe I'll try to get back to sleep now. Or in a few minutes. Smoke a cigarette first. Now that I think of it, the only times I didn't have many sleep issues was when I was a big pothead. Haven't smoked in 2 years though but I've really been wanting to lately. Ugh.

Cop killings are on my mind right now. Ever since this kid was killed by a cop in Ferguson, Missouri back in August (which was justified), there have been strings of police officers being killed. Two in two days. And it's sad that it doesn't even make the national news half the time. A cop was killed on Wednesday in Georgia. Shot to death. And today (well, technically yesterday) a hometown hero in the City of Brotherly Love was shot and killed. Shot three times, once in the head. It's a fucking disgrace. Both cops left behind children. The Philly cop had a 9 year old and a 1 year old. At least the older one got a chance to know his father but the baby will have no memories of him. It's really fucking sad. I thought about becoming a cop. I would still like to but I'm getting too old. Almost 30, completely out of shape, and no driver's license. You need to have a license for at least 3 years. Sucks.

Yay it's March! Winter is almost over! I hate winter. We've been getting a lot of snow the past month or so. Got like 8 inches yesterday. I don't want spring to come though. I want it to skip straight to summer.

So, last month, Nicholas Coia went to court. Almost 12 years ago, he was one of the kids that killed my friend Jason Sweeney. I was friends with him too. And his brother Domenic. I didn't know the other two, Eddie Batzig and Justina Morley. Justina lured Sweeney to his death. She took him to an isolated spot back by the Delaware river, a place I used to go with Dom to smoke weed. She lured him for sex. After they got there and he pulled his pants down, the boys jumped out and beat him to death with a hammer, a hatchet, and a rock. All for his paycheck so they could get high. They beat his head and face so bad, every bone was broken except his left cheekbone. When he was found, they didn't know if he was an old man or a young kid. He was only 16 years old. The boys got sentenced to life in prison, while the whore got 17-1/2 to 35 years (only about 5-1/2 years left until she's eligible for parole). A few years back, the Supreme Court decided that sentencing anyone under 18 to life in prison is cruel and unusual punishment, a violation of I think the 18th admendment. So anyone who was under 18 when they committed a crime and was sentenced to life can appeal their sentence, which is exactly what Nicky did. Sweeney's sister Melissa had his friends and family members write a letter for court. The judge decided to uphold his life sentence. Thank God. It's bad enough the girl will be getting out eventually. It's a shame that the family had to go through that again. I could write a lot more on that topic. Maybe I will tomorrow.

It's after 3am now. I think I'll try to get back to sleep. Goodnight.
